Mala Making Workshops
THE MAKING OF A TRADITIONAL MALA for use in JAPA YOGA is a beautiful process that you may learn and share with others.
The English equivalent for the word MALA is Rosary. Every spiritual tradition uses some sort of MALA, a garland of 108 prayer beads, for the repetition of MANTRAS.
In the Yoga tradition the type of stone, seed or wood used is chosen for the vibrational quality that it emits which will bring the practitioner to a peaceful and positive state of mind. We will supply a selection of materials for the student to choose from in making their unique MALA. All materials are included in the cost of the 3 hour workshop.
